Description
APPARATUS FOR STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF PROJECTILES PARTICULARLY PROJECTILES The invention relates to an apparatus for storage and transport of particularly of projectiles for containers or frameworks are already known to be used for the storage and transport of these are subdivided by longitudinal and transverse walls or other partitions into into which the for example can be The whole unit cm be provided with a Generally boxes are involved in which the grenades or the like are stored in a vertical boxes or the like are also in which the grenades are arranged to lie in a horizontal The of the invention is an apparatus for storing and transporting projectiles having tapered head particularly projective s for granade launchers comprising a framework in which the projectiles are stored with said head portions down in compartments arranged along vertical and horizontal characterised in that holder rings surrounding projectiles to be inserted at or near their largest and further coaxial holder rings or annular parts holding the projectiles at their tapered head are arranged on a holder plate or the at an angle to the surface which angle increases progressively from one compartment to the lower one so that the projectile tails are slightly spread relative to one another and that these pairs of rings are each provided vertically offset by one first distance in an oblique direction to the By means of such a construction there is obtained a framework for storing and transporting in which grenades seen from can be stored in a staggered fashion relative to one Since the grenades are slightly spread relative to one they may be veil and securely grasped by the tail This advantage is supplemented by the fact that the are in a vertical plane relative to the holder are each arranged a certain vertical distance lower than their predecessor The framework to the invention can be ixed in position on a vertical wall or the or it can also be designed as a portable each of holder rings is provided with an additional oblique inclination to the oblique angle of the pair of rings lying closer to the plate or the This achieves even wider spreading of the tail ends of the grenades when they are placed in a vertical row in the so that stacking and removal of the grenades can be undertaken considerably more The group of consisting of pairs of can be arranged to lie next to one another in various so that a framework results which can be optionally extended in a horizontal cover surrounding the groups and rows of pairs of rings and the associated projectiles can advantageously be arranged with the holder said cover suitably consisting of a flexible sailcloth or the In this way the entire framework can be in the of a easily portable by one The invention will be described in the following with reference to an embodiment shown by way of example in the shows a schematic side view of the storage and transport apparatus for projectiles or the like according to the is a rear view of the framework according to the the cover being The illustrated for storing and transporting projectiles and the like has a holder plate on which holder rings 2 and 3 are fixed at an oblique angle to the plane of plate Holder rings 2 are so designed that they can surround the largest diameter of the projectile 4 to be set in the whereas holder rings 3 have a smaller clear these pairs of rings are provided in a staggered fashion from the top The pairs of rings respectively offset one stage are suitably arranged at a further oblique angle downwards relative to the oblique of the pairs of rings fixed directly on plate This results in further compartment spreading for the grenades or the like which are angled points are located in the This offset arrangement of the pairs of rings can be provided in various adjacent as is apparent from In the framework nine grenades can stored in a corresponding staggered arrangement relative to one The design of the holder rings can be undertaken in various Holder rings 2 are whereas holder rings 3 are made by perforations in plate portions The whole framework can be surrounded by a cover This advantageously consists of flexible sailcloth or the Plate 1 is suitably designed in the manner of a rucksack carrier Cover 7 can be designed so as to be openablo and closable at an optional insufficientOCRQuality
Claims (5)
1. An apparatus for storing and transporting projectiles having tapered head portion, particularly in-stabilized projectiles for grenade launchers comprising a framework in which the projectiles are stored with said head portions down in compartments arranged along vertical and horizontal rows, characterised in that holder rings (2) surrounding the projectiles (4) to be inserted at or near their largest diameter, and further coaxial holder rings or annular parts (3) holding the projectile at their tapered head portion, are arranged on a holder plate 0) or the like, at an angle to the plate's surface which angle increases progressively from one compartment to the lower one so that the projectile tails are slightly spread relative to one another and that these pairs of rings (2,3) are each provided vertically offset by one first ring's distance in an oblique direction to the plate's surface*
2. · An apparatus as in Claim 1 , characterised in that the ring (3) surrounding the head portion is formed by a perforation in a plate piece*
3. · An apparatus as in one of Claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the groups consisting of offset pairs of rings are provided in various adjacent arrangements*
4. * An apparatus as in one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a cover (7) surrounding the groups and rows of pairs of rings and the associated projectiles, made, for example, of flexible material such as sailcloth or the like, is fixed to plate (1)*
5. * An apparatus as in one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the plate (1) is designed as a carrier plate in the
