DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Attention is first directed to Figs. 1A to 1F of the drawings directed to a first example of a headgear according to the present disclosure, generally designated 20. The headgear 20 is a full-face mask (i.e. namely configured for covering user's eyes. Nose and mouth) useful, by way of example by individuals so as to avoid, or likely reduce risk of engaging pollutants/ infectious organisms.
The headgear 20 comprises a head support generally designated 22 and a facial accessory, namely the face mask 24, and a substantially rigid support arm 26 unilaterally extending between the head support 22 and the facial accessory 24.
The head support 22 is configured with a skull rest 30 having an open curved shape bearing portion, shaped and sized for bearing over posterior head portion 40 of an individual 42 (Fig. 1F), and wherein the skull rest 30 can be padded and/or flexible to an extent, for comfort use.
The facial accessory 24 comprises a transparent visor 32 and a facial rest portion 34 in the form of a cushioning circumferentially disposed over an inside edge portion of the facial accessory 24. The support arm 26 can be substantially rigid though it may be pliable to an extent, and it supports the head support 22 and the facial accessory 24 at a spaced apart relation, where in the illustrated example the head support 22 and the facial accessory 24 are fixed about the support arm 26. The length of the support arm 26 is one- size-fit-all, though it may be manufactured in different lengths so as to conform with different average head sized individuals (e.g. Mini, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, etc.) It is noted that the support arm 26 is in fact configured of two longitudinal arms 16A and 26B, though the example of Figs. 1 and 1F illustrates a single armed support arm.
In use (Fig. 1F), the skull rest 30 bears over the posterior head portion 40 whilst the facial rest portion bears over the users face, such that he visor 32 is spaced from the user's face, giving rise to a safe space therebetween, free of potential contamination.
Further, when the headgear 20 is mounted over a user's head, the unilateral support arm 26 is disposed along one side of user's head (right side in the examples), such that the support arm 26 is in close proximity with user's head, and wherein the support arm 26 serves as a mounting/unmounting grip, configurable for applying or removing the headgear using one hand only.
Turning now to Figs. 2A to 2C there is illustrated a headgear according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, generally designated 50, in the form of a half-face mask (namely configured for covering only ones nose and mouth), comprising a head support generally designated 52 and a facial accessory, namely an ergonomically shaped nose-mouth mask 54, and a substantially rigid support arm 56 unilaterally extending between the head support 52 and the facial accessory 54.

Further comprised at the skull rest 60 is a mini air propelling unit, namely electric fan 64, configured for propelling ambient air through a filtration unit 66, powered by a power source (namely a battery within encasement 68; rechargeable or not).
The facial accessory 54 comprises a transparent nose-mouth cover 70 and a facial rest portion 72 in the form of a cushioning circumferentially disposed over an inside edge portion of the facial accessory 54. The nose-mouth cover 70 is transparent so that others can read lips of the user and further so that others can identify hazardous conditions of a user, e.g. chocking, vomiting, etc.). The support arm 56 is substantially rigid though pliable to an extent, owing to a rigidifying steel member 74, said support arm 56 supports the head support 52 and the facial accessory 54 at a spaced apart relation, where in the illustrated example the head support 52 and the facial accessory 54 are distantly fixed about the support arm 56, however pivotable over the support arm 56 (i.e. about an axis parallel to a frontal axis of a user). In this example too, the length of the support arm 56 is one-size-fit-all).
The support arm 56 in the present example is a hollow tube being in flow communication between the air propelling unit 64 and an air outlet port 80 at the facial accessory 54, whereby activating the air propelling unit (e.g. by an electric switch, a pressure sensor, position sensor, etc.; not shown) entails pressure built-up at the space 85 between user's face (not shown) and the cover 70. The pressure build-up forces fresh, filtered air to the users respiratory system and yet reduces likelihood of contaminants to enter the space 85. Mounting an using the headgear 50 takes place in the same fashion as discussed in connection with the previous example as disclosed in connection with Figs. 1A to 1F, however with the addition of an active air filtration and propelling system.
The headgear 50 is a detachable configuration, wherein the head support 52 (Fig. 3A) comprises a tubular coupling socket 88 for articulating thereto the tubular support arm 56, such that the coupling socket 88 facilitates air flow therethrough and yet allows for rotational freedom of the support arm 56 with respect to said head support 52. The support arm 56 is detachably attachable to said socket by a clicking coupler 90 (Fig. 3C). such an arrangement is useful for example for cleaning/sterilizing the components, and for fitting a suitable size head support with a support arm, depending on user's anatomy.
Likewise, the facial accessory (nose-mouth mask 54) is detachably attachable to the fore end of the support arm 56, via a locking latch 92 configured for facilitating rotational articulation therebetween.
Figs. 4A and 4B illustrate the headgear 50 (discussed hereinabove wit reference to Figs. 2A to 2C and 3A to 3C) worn/mounted over a user's head 96, wherein the bearing portion 63 of the skull rest 60 bear over the user's posterior head portion 98 and the facial rest portion 72 sealingly bears over the user's face at a spaced apart relation, giving rise to a sealed space 100.
