Description

Noise Reduction Box for Standard Hairdryers Description TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention refers to a noise reduction box for standard hairdryers.
BACKGROUND ART The noise of the hair dryer is a serious nuisance to people who use the hair dryer as well as those who are unlucky and are near. Customers in hairdressing salons who come to haircut suffer severely from the noise of the hairdryers that work for other clients, as do the household members who are annoyed with the noise in the home when someone in the household uses a hairdryer. There are publications on pre-made hairdryers in a way that prevents noise, but these publications do not provide a solution for the existing standard hairdryers, and in any case many people will not will to give up the quality of the standard hairdryers, despite their noise. The present invention provides an excellent answer to these problems by disclosing a box that reduces the noise of a standard hairdryer.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The intention of the drawings attached to the application is not to limit the scope of the invention and its application. The drawings are intended only to illustrate the invention and they constitute only one of its many possible implementations.
FIG. 1 illustrates the noise reduction system (100).
FIG. 2 illustrates the box (1) when it is open.
FIG. 3 illustrates the box (1) with a standard hairdryer (200) inside.
FIG. 4 illustrates handle nozzle (4).
FIGS 5 and 6 illustrate the hair straightening nozzle adapter (5).
FIG. 7 illustrate the electric connectors (47) and (54) of the handle nozzle (4) and the hair straightening nozzle adapter (5).
THE INVENTION The main object of the present invention is to provide a noise reduction system (100) for standard hairdryers (200) that includes a box (1), a flexible adapter (2), an air tube (3) and a pipe handle (4) with a nozzle. Figure 1 illustrates the noise reduction system (100) when the box (1) is closed and the flexible adapter (2) is in broken lines, Figure 2 illustrates the box (1) when it is open and possible to see the flexible adapter (2), and Figure 3 illustrates the box (1) with a standard hairdryer (200) inside it and when its nozzle (201) is inserted into the flexible adapter (2).
The box (1) is designed to contain the standard hairdryer (200) and should be as soundproof as possible. It is preferably that the box (1) may be wall- mounted with a coating of noise-absorbing materials (12). The box (1) may have a cover (13) for closing the box when in use. The box (1) may include a crack (11) into which the standard hairdryer power cord (202) can be threaded, so the cord can be plugged into the power outlet while the standard hairdryer is inside the box. It is desirable that the crack (11) will be coated with a flexible elastic material (111) that seals noise, such as flexible silicon and the like, so that the noise may not pass out through the crack. The box (1) can be flexible as a bag for example. In addition, the box (1) includes an opening (14) for enabling air to come inside the box (1) for providing air to the standard hairdryer (200) and to this opening it is preferably to attach a silencing pipe (6) that reduces the noise passage out of the box (1), which can be, for example, a pipe made of a sponge or a noise-absorbing material with noise obstacles along its length, that may serve as a kind of silencer.
The flexible adapter (2) is built as a tube that its first end (21) is connected to the air tube (3) and its second end (22), which is elastic and flexible, is designed to embrace the nozzle (201) of the standard hairdryer in a tight and sealed manner so that the air that flows out from the nozzle (201) of the standard hairdryer will flow directly only through the air pipe (3) to the pipe handle (4). Due to the flexibility and elasticity of the second end (22) of the flexible adapter (2), it is fit and suitable for a variety of shapes and designs of nozzles (201) of a variety of standard hairdryers (200).
The pipe handle (4) may be designed as a standard hairdryer, but without the motor. The pipe handle (4) is designed as a hollow pipe with an air inlet (411) that is connected to the air pipe (3) in a way that the air come out through its opening (412). The pipe handle (4) includes also a handle (42) to enable the user to hold the pipe handle (4) in comfort.
The pipe handle (4) may include heaters (43) and an electric connection (46) to these heaters for heating the air that flows through it. The pipe handle (4) may include power buttons (44) for activating and controlling the heaters (43). It is possible that the pipe handle (4) will include a sensor (45) for detecting airflow in the pipe handle so that without such airflow the heaters will not operate for avoiding damage to the heaters. Figure 4 illustrates the pipe handle (4).
How to use the noise reduction system (100): The user should place the standard hairdryer (200) inside the box (1), to insert the nozzle (201) into the flexible elastic second end (22) of the flexible adapter, to thread the power cord (202) of the standard hairdryer into the crack (11) and to connect it to an electrical socket. Then the user activates the standard hairdryer according to his or her needs and closes the box by the cover (13). In this situation the air flows from the standard hairdryer through the air pipe (3) and the pipe handle (4) and outside through the opening (412). The user may switch the buttons (44) for heating the flowing air as he or she wishes.
The noise reduction system (100) may also include a hair straightening nozzle adapter (5) that is designed to be connected to the opening (412) of the pipe handle (4) and to be used as a means of smoothing and straightening the hair by using the system (100) with a hair brush. The hair straightening nozzle adapter (5) is made of ceramic, titanium or materials from which it is customary to produce the part of hair straighteners that come into contact with the hair. The hair straightening nozzle adapter (5) is designed in the form of a hollow body, which its back side (51) is designed to fit on the opening (412) of the pipe handle (4) and its front side (52) serves as an opening for the air flow.
The hair straightening nozzle adapter (5) may include heaters (53) and an electric connector (54) that corresponds with an electric connector (47) of the pipe handle (4), and by that to get power supply from the electrical connection (46) of the pipe handle (4). The hair straightening nozzle adapter (5) may also include a power button (55) for activating and controlling the heaters (53).
Figure 5 and 6 illustrate the hair straightening nozzle adapter (5), and Figure illustrate the electric connectors (47) and (54) of the pipe handle (4) and the hair straightening nozzle adapter (5).
Abstract A noise reduction system for standard hairdryers that includes a box, a flexible adapter, an air tube and a pipe handle. The box is designed to contain the standard hairdryer and includes a crack into which a power cord of the standard hairdryer can be threaded. The flexible adapter is designed as a hollow tube that its first end is designed to be connected to the air tube and its second elastic and flexible end is designed to embrace the nozzle of the standard hairdryer in a tight and sealed manner, and the pipe handle has an air inlet that is designed to be connected to the air pipe and an opening for the air.
