Abstract
System and method for use in object calcification are presented, the method comprising: providing input image data comprising one or more image frames and using a processing utility for processing the input image data for identifying one or more objects within at least a portion of the image frames. The processing comprises: analyzing said one or more image frames for detecting one or more foreground objects is at least a portion of the frame; determining a set of physical characteristics for at least one detected foreground objects; using said determined set of physical characteristics for determining at least one image region associated with said at least one detected foreground object; processing said image region for determining initial classification data of said object and generating data indicative of initial classification probabilities; using said data indicative of initial classification probabilities and said physical characteristics of the at least one detected foreground object and determining object classification; and providing output data indicative of classification of said one or more objects.
