Description

CLAIMS Method of cancelling linear and non linear spurious spectral components of an analogue signal generated by a device used to modulate an analogue signal from a digital modulation signal, the device comprising a waveform generator (2) configured to generate frequencies according to a discrete frequency comb and a monitoring receiver (22) in a closed slaving loop, the monitoring receiver comprising digital oscillators (DDS_2, DDS_3) and a frequency multiplier associate to a digital oscillator (DDS_2) in order to increase the frequency excursion of said digital oscillator (DDS_2) with its multiplicative coefficient, the digital modulation signal being slaved to the analogue signal so as to cancel spurious components present in the analogue signal, the method comprising: - a step of synchronizing the phases of the digital oscillators (DDS_2, DDS_3) of the monitoring receiver (22); the method being characterized in that it comprises for each spurious spectral component: - a step of synchronizing the phase of the waveform generator (2) and the phase of the monitoring receiver (22), so as to define a transition matrix between a measurement coordinate system and a modulation coordinate system; - a step of vectorial measuring spurious spectral components in the measurement coordinate system with the frequency multiplier associate to the digital oscillator (DDS_2); - a step of estimating spurious spectral components in the modulation coordinate system from the vectorial measuring spurious spectral components in the measurement coordinate system and of said transition matrix, - a step of establishing the cancellation coefficients of the spurious spectral component, said coefficients being egal to the spurious component in the modulation coordinate system in phase opposition.
