Abstract

The device has armoring modules (2) arranged in two superposed layers (4,5). A connection unit (3) connects two consecutive pouches (6) containing respectively two armoring modules. The pouches are pivoted with respect to one another around an articulation line. The connection unit is articulated between the pouches for maintaining the overlap of the modules.
