Abstract

A matrix of individual light sources, e.g. laser diodes (14) are directed by a micro optical system (34) onto a prism (48) and into the macro optical system (20). The light beams are reflected by a mirror (30) back onto the focussing lens system (52,54,56) and onto the printing surface.
