r GAME ρηκ>η r FIELD OF THE INVENTION: There is provided a game, somewhat similar to a puzzle, where there is provided an album or a sheet showing a plurality of Figures, of any type of persons: actors, criminals, singers, politicians and the like. There are provided base-sheets, with part of the picture of such persons image printed thereon, and at least one, preferably two or more additional sheets, which are transparent, and which have to be superpositioned on the first sheet to give the final image of the person.

There will be sold sealed envelopes containing a plurality of base sheets and transparent sheets of the same size, which are to be placed on said base sheets, to provide the desired final figures. In any such envelope there are sold printed sheets which do not belong to the same Figure, and thus a collector attempting to complete his album will have to obtain numerous sealed envelopes, the contents of which are not known to the purchaser, and to try his luck.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION: Various puzzles are known but in these there is provided a plurality of parts of a given picture, which have to be assembled to give the desired final picture. Nothing in such puzzles is superpositioned. - 2 - SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: There is provided a game, somewhat similar to a puzzle, where there is provided an album or a sheet showing a plurality of Figures, of any type of persons: actors, criminals, singers, politicians and the like. There are provided base-sheets, with part of the picture of such persons image printed thereon, and at least one, preferably two or more additional sheets, which are transparent, and which have to be superpositioned on the first sheet to give the final image of the person.

There will be sold sealed envelopes containing a plurality of base sheets and transparent sheets of the same size, which are to be placed on said base sheets, to provide the desired final figures. In any such envelope there are sold printed sheets which do not belong to the same Figure, and thus a collector attempting to complete his album will have to obtain numerous sealed envelopes, the contents of which are not known to the purchaser, and to try his luck.

Thus, the entire set comprises a sheet (or album) with a plurality of pictures, and a set of partial pictures, which after correct assembly correspond to the pictures on such sheet. As pointed out, each assembly comprises a partial picture printed on an opaque sheet, and at least one, and preferably two or more further different partial pictures which result after assembly in a complete picture corresponding to the one on the sheet or album.

There may be provided from two to a larger number of partial pictures, to give the final picture. Always the base partial picture will be printed on a medium such as paper or cardboard i.e. a non-transparent medium.

The partial picture or pictures are printed on a transparent medium, and when superpositioned on the base sheet, which is of identical size, the final picture is obtained.

In the following the invention is illustrated with reference to a game where each final picture consists of an opaque printed base sheet, bearing part of the figure, on which there have to be positioned two further partial, different from each other, pictures, which also differ from the base sheet, so as to obtain the final picture of the given Figure (person).

The invention is illustrated with reference to the enclosed schematical Figures, not according to scale, in which: Fig. 1 shows a base sheet and two transparent sheets to be placed on same; Fig. 2 shows the base sheet of Fig. 1 with one of the transparent sheets placed thereon; and the remaining third sheet; Fig. 3 shows the base sheet with two superpositioned transparent sheets, as shown in Fig. 1, which "triple sandwich" results in the final picture of "Frankenstein". Fig. 4 illustrates, by way of Example, an album on which there appear a plurality of figures, each of which is the result of the superpositioning of two partial transparent sheets bearing different parts of the image, superpositioned on a printed base sheet which bears a different part of such image.

It is clear that the invention is not restricted to pictures of persons; it can be used with other figures, such as various planes, weapons, landscapes and the like.

Claims (4)

CLAIMS :

1. A set of plurality of different pictures or figures, printed on a sheet or an album, in combination with sets of partial pictures, each of which sets corresponds to one of the pictures or figures on said printed sheet or album, each set of partial pictures comprising an opaque base sheet and one or more partial pictures, to be superpositioned on said base sheet, on a transparent medium, so that such superpositioning results in a final picture or figure.

2. A set according to claim 1, where each picture or figure comprises an opaque partial picture, and two transparent partial pictures to be superpositioned thereon, resulting in a complete picture.

3. A set of partial pictures according to claim 1 or 2, where a plurality of partial pictures not belonging to the same final picture are sold or distributed in packages, so that a collector desiring to assemble all the pictures or figures on a certain page has to obtain a number of such packages .

4. A set according to any of claims 1 to 3, where the final picture bears the name of the person depicted by such picture.
