Investigation Of Foundation Soil And Reinforcement Of Foundation Soil By Compacting Or Drainage
(AREA)
Abstract
An irrigation method using pipes connected to a non-pressurized water reservoir (5), the method being characterized in that said pipes are made of thin or very thin flexible impermeable sheath (1) having very fine holes (2), wherein the shape of the pipe is not self maintained; the method also comprises filling the pipes with porous elements (3) capable of being progressively impregnated with water by capillary action from the water reservoir, whereby soil (4) adjacent the periphery (7) of the pipes is moisturized by virtue only of the capillary effect within and towards the exterior of the pipe via the very fine holes.
