Abstract
In the ceramic condensing boiler with water-cooled combustion chamber (1), the combustion chamber (1) is enclosed in a hood (2). In the space delimited by the hood and the combustion chamber, baffles (3, 4) are arranged.
Description
Ceramic condensing heating boiler with water-cooled combustion chamber
The invention relates to a ceramic condensing heating boiler with a water-cooled combustion chamber, which is enclosed in a casing.
Condensing heating boilers of the said type are known from SanitSr- und Heizungstechnik, issue no. 3, 1989, pages 144 - 145. They comprise a water-cooled combustion chamber which is enclosed in a casing. Upstream of the combustion chamber, there is the burner, and downstream there is a downstream heating surface. About 20% of the released energy is obtained via the combustion chamber, and about 80% via the downstream heating surface. To improve the efficiency, measures are required which are capable of improving the release of the heat from the combustion chamber.
The invention achieves the object by arranging baffles in the space enclosed by the combustion chamber and the casing. These baffles can be (fin-type) tubes and/or rings, which are arranged on the combustion chamber and/or on the casing.
The advantage of the invention is that, as compared with the known condensing heating boiler, more than twice the energy can be released from the combustion chamber. As a result, the exit gas reaches the downstream heating surface at a comparatively lower temperature and leaves the latter likewise at a comparatively lower temperature, which leads to a higher thermal efficiency.

- 2 annular space which is bounded by the casing 2 and the combustion chamber 1, baffles 3, 4 are arranged which can be rings 4 (Figure 1) and/or tubes 3 (Figure 2). The baffles 3, 4 are arranged on the combustion chamber 1 and/or the casing 2. Through 5, the flow medium passes from the downstream heating surface (not shown) into the space defined by the combustion chamber 1 and casing 2, and the flow medium leaves this space through 6.

1. A ceramic condensing heating boiler with a watercooled combustion chamber enclosed in a casing, wherein baffles (3, 4) are arranged in the space bounded by the combustion chamber (1) and the casing 2.

4. The ceramic condensing heating boiler as claimed in claim 1, wherein the baffles (3, 4) are tubes (3) arranged on the combustion chamber (1) and/or on the casing (2). The ceramic condensing heating boiler as claimed in claim 1, wherein the baffles (3, 4) are rings (4) arranged on the combustion chamber (1) and/or on the casing (2). A ceramic condensing heating boiler as claimed in claim 1, substantially as hereinbefore described with particular reference to and as illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
