Abstract
The construction of the lead-acid accumulator is intended to make the known attachment types possible for vehicles by means of attachment strips. The lead-acid accumulator is intended to be capable of attachment to different vehicles without further modifications. The plastic housing (2) of the lead-acid accumulator (1) is provided in the region of its base, on the side walls (4, 5, 6, 7), with in each case one attachment strip (9, 11) of integral construction. These attachment strips (9, 11) supplement one another to form a continuous attachment strip, only the edge regions being cut out. On the two narrow sides (4, 6), the attachment strips are provided centrally with a notch which is used to improve retention. The upper surface of the projecting attachment strips (9, 11) is bevelled in a roof shape. The upper surface of the attachment strip, which is bevelled in a roof shape, merges on the narrow sides (4, 6) of the housing (2) at right angles into a bevelled lower surface or supporting profile (14) of an upper attachment strip (15, 16), in each case on a narrow side (4, 6) of the housing (2). The upper surface of the upper attachment strips (15, 16) is likewise of bevelled construction and is in each case provided with a notch (12, 13) which is aligned with the notch mentioned above. <IMAGE>
