Abstract

TH7 The rate of release of medicament from a controlled release tablet having a polymeric vinylpyrrolidonecarboxyvinyl hydrophilic core is improved by coating the medicament-containing core with a substantially water insoluble rupturable film which is water permeable and comprises a blend of hydrophobic polymer and hydrophilic polymer.
