Abstract

A new monwoven fabric comprising a layer of fibers and from about 2 percent to 25 percent by weight of the fiber layer of an in situ polymerized resin binder. The new nonwoven fabric has a dry strenght of at least 2.5 pounds per inch of width per 100 grains per square yard and a wet strength of at least 80 percent of the dry strength. [CA1094407A]
