1445142 Finishing fabrics BENZAQUEN SOC A NOMINA INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL INMOBILIARIA Y FINANCIERA 22 Oct 1973 [23 Nov 1972] 49093/73 Heading D1S A textile fabric is finished by applying a dye substantially uniformly to the fabric to cover only at least one surface thereof, subjecting the coloured surface to a superficial abrasion to raise superficial fibrils of the yarn of the fabric whereby a felt-like surface texture and simultaneous mutation of the colouring of the surface is effected substantially uniformly over the surface. Preferably, the fabric is a scoured fabric and suitable dyes are based on pigments. The dye may be applied by a rotary cylinder, e.g. a schablan. The abrasion may be effected by rotary cylinders with an emery coating. [GB1445142A]
