1358088 Hydraulic accumulators PIRELLI GENERAL CABLE WORKS Ltd 25 Oct 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53592/71 Heading F1D A hydraulic accumulator comprises a vessel 10, Fig. 1, for receiving oil under pressure, containing a stack of gas-filled cells 12 with spacing means 14 between the cells to facilitate the escape of gas from between the cells during degassing. The spacers may comprise rings, Fig.2, with radial holes 18, flat discs with slots, Fig.3, (not shown), or plain or corrugated strips. Alternatively the faces of the cells may be profiled with spiral corrugations, raised rims or bosses. [GB1358088A]
