Abstract

A moulding machine having two moulds displaceable to and from a moulding posn. where they define a mould cavity, the first mould having a first and second part which together with the second mould define a mould cavity and which can be brought alternately to the moulding station. A mechanism for transferring a sheet to one of the mould while not in the moulding posn. is provided. The sheet transfer machine provides a carriage for moving the sheet to the mould element, the sheet being held in posn. by applying vacuum. The device is useful for applying decorative sheets to moulded products during the moulding process. [FR2101680A5]
