Abstract
Compsns. for the decontamination of radiation affected surfaces (A) or for the protection of clean areas from contamination (B) contain (all wt.%'s): (A) 40-70 natural latex, 8-20 vinyl-acetate latex, 10-30 lubricating-reinforcing fillers, 3-6 ion-exchange adsorbing agent and opt. 5 various additives as stabilising and colouring agents, anti-oxidants, and anti-coagulants. (B) 40-70 Vinyl-acetate latex, 15-25 lubricating and reinforcing fillers, 8-15 plasticiser and opt., max. 5, additives namely stabilisers, antioxidants, antioxidants and colourants. (A) may be applied by spraying to produce a 0.5-1.0mm thick film. - Contaminated film is removed in strips.
