Abstract

Pretreatment and reception of liq. domestic sewage from areas lacking drainage into an existing domestic sewage treating plant working at full or under-used capacity, involves: recirculating purified water drawn from the main sewage treating plant towards the mechanical cleaning unit of the plant, through a well agitated and aerated buffer tank. Sewage arriving in tankers from the no drainage areas is fed directly into this buffer tank under pressure and through this into the thus developed treatment system.
