Abstract
During mfr. of moulds and cores a soln. of synthetic resin binder is used, with a dynamic viscosity of less than 0.15 Pa. sec. The required viscosity is achieved using an organic solvent with less than 10% water content of pref. using the equivalent alcohol. The solvent may be mixed with the resin or it may be added on its own during prepn. of the mould.
