Abstract
The method involves supplying water and air to a swimming pool (2) which is arranged inside a building or a closed room (1), or which has a rolling cover. The water and air are fed into the pool below the surface (40) of the water. The air is sucked in from outside the building or closed room. It may be fed into the pool separately from the water supply and injection system, or may be combined with fresh or filtered water to form a mixture of water and air which is fed in to the pool through at least one inlet nozzle (23-25). The room may also have a valve (14) which responds to excess pressure, so that air may escape in order to relieve the pressure inside.
