Abstract

The top (1) with a skirt (40) is fitted on a container (50). The top has a neck (3) whose opening (7) is linked by a tearable ring shaped portion (10) to a re-usable inner sealing cap (20). The inner sealing cap is extended by a plate (30) the periphery (31) of which has a common symmetrical axis with the tearable ring. The plate is fitted with three lugs (32). The skirt sidewall is open at one end and its internal wall (46) is partially cylindrical, its cross section matching the shape, excluding lugs, of the plate periphery. The skirt has three cavities for housing the lugs. The skirt sidewall is slipped round the plate until it is stopped by the insertion of the plate lugs in the side wall cavities.
