Abstract
The heating conductor consists of heating elements (2) of a cut out geometric pattern of metal foil. The elements are located between the cooking zone and an insulating base. The elements have holding tabs (1) to affix the heating elements in holders (5) of the heating body or in parts of the insulating base. The holding tabs have integral attachment devices. The heating elements are arranged at different heights or allow the different metal foil to be arranged parallel, orthogonal or at an angle to each other. Different widths of the elements are used to provide a different light-dark pattern on the heating conductor foil which is used to prevent connection sections becoming red hot or to provide patterns or lettering.
