A találmány szerinti védőszerek egyik csoportjátolyan szerek képezik, amelyek hatóanyagként bisz(8-guanidin-oktil)-amint vagy annak sóját tartalmazzák. A másik csoportba tartozó szerekhatóanyagként a bisz(8-guanidino-oktil)-amintól és annak sóitóleltérő, mezőgazdasági kultúrákban és kertgazdaságokban előfordulóbaktériumos betegségek leküzdésére alkalmas másik hatóanyagot ismagukban foglalnak. A találmány szerinti eljárás szerint úgyvédekeznek a mezőgazdasági kultúrákban és kertgazdaságokban előfordulóbaktériumos betegségek ellen, hogy a találmány szerinti védőszereketfelhordják a kultúrnövényre vagy a termőtalajra.
