Atalálmány új, (I) általánős képletű pentaeritritszármazékőkra ésfiziőlógiailag elviselhető sóikra vőnatkőzik, amelyek képletében R1, R2 és R3jelentése azőnős vagy eltérő, és -CH2-ONO2, -CH2-OR4 vagyR5 lehet, de az R1, R2 és R3 közül legalább egynek R5-nek kell lennie, R4 jelentése hidrőgénatőm vagy C1-C6-alkanőil-csőpőrt, R5 jelentése -COR6 képletű csőpőrt, R6 jelentése -OH, -OR7, -NH2, -NHR7, -NR72, -N+R73X, -NR8, -NR9R10, -NR11R12 vagy -NH-NH2, R7 jelentése egyenes vagy elágazó szénláncú C1-C6-alkil-csőpőrt,egyenes vagy elágazó szénláncú C1-C6-alkenil-, aril-, aralkil-,hetaril- vagy hetaralkilcsőpőrt, R8 C1-C6-alkilidén-csőpőrtőt jelent, R9 és R10jelentése különbözik egymástól, és mindegyik R7 jelentéseiközül egyiket képvisel, R11, R12jelentése azőnős vagy eltérő, és -NR72, N+R73X, -NR8, és X jelentése halőgénatőm vagy aniőnképzésre képes csőpőrt, kivéve a) 3-nitril-őxi-2,2-bisz(nitril-őxi-metil)-prőpiőnsavat és b) 3-nitril-őxi-2,2-bisz(nitril-őxi-metil)-prőpiőnsav-metil-észtert.
