Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Festigkeit und Undurchlaessigkeit von Boeden und technischen Bauwerken, insbesondere Schaechten und Pipelines. Ziel ist es, den technisch-oekonomischen Aufwand zu senken, Gesundheits- und Umweltschaeden zu vermeiden und die Lebensdauer des Gels zu erhoehen. Die Aufgabe besteht darin, ein Verfahren durch Bildung eines Hydrogels aus Kieselsaeure und einem vernetzten, quellfaehigen, organischen Polymeren in oder auf dem behandelten Boden oder Bauwerk zu schaffen, das ohne nachteilige Auswirkungen auf die Eigenschaften des Gels eine einfache und gute Verarbeitbarkeit des Gemisches gewaehrleistet. Erfindungsgemaess wird eine waessrige Loesung eines wasserloeslichen, gelbildenden Vinylmonomeren mit einem Kieselsaeuregel-Vorlaeufer in Anwesenheit von- einem Redox-Polymerisationskatalysatorsystem,-einem Vernetzungsmittel fuer das erhaltene Polymere,-einer organischen Polycarbonsaeure,-gegebenenfalls einem Additiv, das die Struktur des gebildeten Gels modifiziert, und-gegebenenfalls einem Fuellstoffin Beruehrung gebracht.
