Ovaj je problem poznat od davnina rješavao se na bezbroj načina. Zadatak je uvijek isti, a to je, osigurati prozore, vrata, ostakljene stijene i druge otvore protuprovalnom rešetkom. Kod toga je važno da takva zaštita bude prije svega sigurna, a zatim i dekorativna i pristupačna cijenom. Rešetka mora osim toga biti i univerzalna, što znači da se može upotrijebiti za zaštitu otvora raznih dimenzija. To se postiže ovdje pokazanim komponibilnim sistemom, a to opet znači bez zavarivanja ili zakivanja. Bit je komponibilnog sistema da se proizvedu komponibilni elementi, prefabricirani, koji će se na licu mjesta predmontirati u rešetku, i sve bez zavarivanja ili zakivanja. Tako predmontirana rešetka, jednim pokretom dovodi se u stanje potpune čvrstoća, a zatim se jednostavnim načinom sigurno i nerastavljivo pričvršćuje za zid ili na okvir prozora. The essence of the modular system is to produce modular elements, prefabricated, which will be pre-assembled in the grid on site, and all without welding or riveting. The grid, pre-assembled in this way, is brought to a state of complete strength with one movement, and then it is securely and indestructibly attached to the wall or to the window frame in a simple way.

Primarni cilj izuma je učiniti jedan jednostavan, dakle jeftin komponibilni sistem dekorativnih zaštitnih rešetki za zaštitu otvora kao što su prozori prizemlja, svjetlarnici, neki izlozi i drugo. Cilj je također da taj sistem bude toliko jednostavan, da rešetku može sastaviti i montirati i nestručna osoba, uz upotrebu kućnog priručnog alata. Sistem dakako mora biti i univerzalan, tako da se njime mogu zaštititi otvori raznih veličina i oblika. Da bi se to postiglo, sve mora biti izvedivo bez bilo kakvog zavarivanja ili zakivanja, pa tako otpada i naknadna obrada zavarenih mjesta, (čišćenje, brušenje, bojadisanje i sl.). To se ovdje postiže upotrebom sistema prefabriciranih komponibilnih elemenata, i klinč sistemom zatvaranja, koji zamjenjuje zavarivanje ili zakivanje. Naime, svi elementi rešetke imaju na mjestu ukrštanja naročitu perforaciju sa zubom. Na tim mjestima elementi konstrukcije se spajaju ulazeći jedan u drugi, ali samo pod određenim tzv. otvorenim kutom. Nakon pomaka sistema, elementi rešetke se u točkama ukrštanja zakreću jedni prema drugima, odnosno spomenuti kut zatvaraju i ulaze u tzv. klinč, a zubi koji tada čeono nasjedaju jedni na druge, ne dopuštaju više razdvajanje elemenata rešetke. Cijeli se sistem prije ugradnje osigura elastičnim natezačima, pa se može pristupiti ugradnji, koja se može izvršiti učvršćenjem u okvir prozora ili u okolni zid. In order to achieve this, everything must be feasible without any welding or riveting, so the subsequent treatment of the welded areas (cleaning, sanding, painting, etc.) is also eliminated. This is achieved here by using a system of prefabricated composable elements, and a clinch closing system, which replaces welding or riveting. Namely, all grid elements have a special perforation with a tooth at the point of intersection. In these places, the elements of the structure are joined by entering one another, but only under certain so-called open angle. After the movement of the system, the elements of the lattice are turned towards each other at the crossing points, i.e. they close the mentioned angle and enter the so-called clinch, and the teeth, which then face each other, no longer allow the separation of the grid elements. Before installation, the entire system is secured with elastic tensioners, so installation can be started, which can be done by fixing it in the window frame or in the surrounding wall.

Prema crtežu 6, 7, i 8, zaštitna rešetka se sastoji od osnovnih komponibilnih elemenata, oblikovanih prema spomenutim crtežima i izrađenih od plosnog željeza, te perforiranog i ozubljenog prema crtežu 1 i 2. Izbor komponibilnih elemenata, broj i vrstu, određuju veličina i oblik otvora koji treba zaštiti. Zatim se pristupa predmontiranju odnosno sklapanju rešetke prema crtežima 3, 4 i 5, koji prikazuju način ukrštanja osnovnih elemenata rešetke u tzv. otvorenom položaju (crtež 7). Pomicanjem u smjeru strelica, rešetka se zatvara čime se kut koji osnovni elementi u dodirnim točkama zatvaraju, smanjuje. Dodirne točke ulaze u klinč, zubi čeono nasjedaju jedan na drugi čime se ostvaruje čvrsti spoj, a sama rešetka poprima svoj konačni oblik kako to prikazuje crtež 8. Nakon predmontiranja rešetke, kako je to već opisano i prikazano u 1, pristupa se ugradnji kako je to prikazano crtežom 11. Vodilicom vođenim svrdlom zabuši se okolni zid. Na paralelne dijelove komponenti 1 i 2 navlače se cjevasti produžni nastavci 10, i rešetka se postavlja u položaj za montažu. Nakon zabijanja samosteznog vijka 13, navlači se stezni umetak 11, pa stezni konus 12, te podloška i matica kojom se skupa pritegne. Nakon predmontiranja rešetke, kako je to već opisano i prikazano 1, pristupa se ugradnji učvršćenjem za okvir prozora. Hvatačima 3 i 4, crtež 9, obuhvate paralelni dijelovi rešetke, nakon bušenja provrta u okvir prozora, kroz provrt na hvatačima provlači se vijak sa lomljivom glavom, te držač odstojanja 8. vijkom se sve skupa pritegne, a glava odstrani. Ukoliko rešetka odnosno hvatači ne bi dosegli okvir prozora, upotrebljavaju se tzv. produžni hvatači 3.1 i 4.1 crtež 10. Produžni hvatač učvršćuje se najprije za rešetku vijkom sa lomljivom glavom 6, a zatim sličnim vijkom kroz drugi provrt i za okvir prozora.
