Naime, time što cijev 1 pomoću rebara 12 izvedenih na njezinoj unutrašnjoj površini 11 naliježe na pripadajuće istake 21 cijevne veze 2 opremljene barem jednim, uzdužnim utorom 22, dobiven je iznenađujuće jednostavan i učinkovit (siguran) elastični spoj spomenutih dijelova, koji funkcionira usprkos relativno velikim dimenzijskim odstupanjima koja se u preradi termoplastičnih materijala teško mogu potpuno izbjeći, a istovremeno, usprkos mogućim deformacijama do kojih dolazi uslijed normalnih opterećenja kojima je namještaj ispostavljen, između cijevi 1 i veze 2 postoji dovoljno trenje. Pošto se pri uspostavljanju spoja prema izumu većinom ili u pravilu radi o elastičnim deformacijama rebara 12 i istaka 21, spoj je svakako rastavljiv i ponovljiv: isto to vrijedi i za obujmice 3 i čepove 4. Since when establishing the joint according to the invention, it is mostly or as a rule about elastic deformations of the ribs 12 and the protrusions 21, the joint is certainly detachable and repeatable: the same applies to the clamps 3 and plugs 4.

Pri termoplasičnim materijalima čija bi prerada mogla biti izvediva osiguranjem razmjerno malih dimenzijskih odstupanja, mogla bi doći u obzir i alternativna izvedba spoja za namještaj (si. 5 i 6), pri kojoj je cijev Y izvedena kao dvostjenčano zasnovana cijev.
