Claims (8)

1. Postupak (120, 120A) dekodiranja podataka (118) o slici za reprodukciju na ekranu, koji obuhvaća: ekstrahiranje (122, 122A) metapodataka iz podataka o slici, metapodataka koji ukazuju na definiciju lokalizirane skale i metapodataka koji osiguravaju informacije o definiciji lokalizirane skale za jedan ili više određenih okvira; dekompresiju (124, 124A) podataka o slici; i primjenu (126, 126A) inverzne transformacije skale na podatke o slici, pri čemu inverzna transformacija skale mapira vrijednosti koordinata boja definicije lokalizirane skale na vrijednosti koordinata boja formata podataka o slici za reprodukciju na ekranu, pri čemu je skala definicije lokalizirane skale manja od skale podataka o slici.
2. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 1, pri čemu skala definicije lokalizirane skale zauzima dio područja skale formata podataka o slici za reprodukciju na ekranu.
3. Postupak prema patentnom zahtjevu 1 ili 2, pri čemu podaci o slici obuhvaćaju oblast okvira, a definicija lokalizirane skale definira skala oblasti okvira.
4. Postupak prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1-3, koji obuhvaća filtriranje (128, 128A) podataka o slici nakon primjene inverzne transformacije skale da bi se smanjio izgled vizualnih artefakata.
5. Postupak prema bilo kojem od prethodnih patentnih zahtjeva, pri čemu definicija lokalizirane skale ima istu dubinu bita kao i skala podataka o slici.

Uređaj (160) za dekodiranje podataka o slici za reprodukciju na ekranu, pri čemu uređaj obuhvaća: ekstraktor (162) metapodataka konfiguriran da ekstrahira metapodatke iz podataka o slici, metapodatke koji ukazuju na lokaliziranu definiciju skale i metapodatke koji osiguravaju informacije o definiciji lokalizirane skale za jedan ili više određenih okvira; jedinicu (164) za dekompresiju konfiguriranu da dekomprimira podatke o slici; i jedinicu (168) inverzne transformacije konfiguriranu da primjeni inverznu transformaciju skale na podatke o slici, gdje inverzna transformacija skale mapira vrijednosti koordinata boja iz definicije lokalizirane skale na vrijednosti koordinata boja formata podataka o slici za reprodukciju na ekranu, pri čemu je skala definicije lokalizirane skale manja od skale podataka o slici.
8. Računalni program koji ima uputstva koja, kada ih izvodi računalni uređaj ili sistem, dovode do toga da navedeni računalni uređaj ili sistem izvrši korake bilo kojeg od postupaka prema patentnim zahtjevima 1 do 6.
