Abstract

A shot proof wall system has single or multi layer outer panels (11, 12) over double inner panels (23, 24) of fibre reinforced plaster. The inner and outer panels are secured onto metal profile supports using threaded fasteners. The plaster and fibre panels can have a layered construction, e.g. plaster and fibre and metal. The structure provides a progressive absorption of projectiles including shot and shrapnel.
