Uređaj za automatsko upravljanje i nadzor objekata putem Interneta je uređaj koji ima vlastiti TCP/IP protokol, koji zauzima malo memorije i koji je smješten u jedan mikrokontroler, bez upotrebe dodatnih čipova. Svi portovi mikrokontrolera ostaju slobodni za upravljanje periferijama, znatno su smanjene dimenzije uređaja i povećana je pouzdanost, apotrošnja uređaja je vrlo mala. Primjena izuma jeneograničena.Interesantno tržište su proizvođači opreme. Npr. ugradnjom ovakvih uređaja u kompresore može se u svakom trenutku znati stanje kompresora, sati rada uređaja, stanje pojedinih sklopova i samim time na jednostavan način raditi preventivnoodržavanje kompresora.
