Embodiments disclosed herein provide a lock (300) for holding two pieces of panel (100 200). Two pieces of the panel (100 200) are brought together to form an X-Shaped structure with an opening like a mortise hole (401). A lock (300) will be plugged into the mortise hole (401) like a tenon tongue to tighten the panels (100 200) together. A catch-and-latch has been deployed at the mortise hole (401) and tenon tongue as a locking mechanism. To further stabilize the structure, the lock (300) equips with at least one notches in its front, back, right-hand side or left-hand side to hold and strengthen the position of the panels for preventing them from bending or broken.
