Instant messaging (IM) technology enables real-time online communication and is increasingly used in entertainment, chat, and e-commerce. IM typically uses a client to enable real-time online interaction. Users can send messages to other clients through a client, and can also read messages sent from other clients through a client.

Instant messaging users are increasingly concerned about privacy and security. Sometimes, users want to share private information like text, images, and videos with friends, but they don't want their friends to save or disseminate it. Therefore, "ephemeral" messaging technology was developed to address this issue. Ephemeral messaging technology allows users to send a message to a recipient. By long-pressing the message icon or list, the recipient's screen will display the message content and automatically incinerate within a limited time.

That is to say, the information entered in the existing "burn after reading" mode will be permanently deleted within a short time, such as 10 seconds, after the recipient reads it. However, when users conduct instant messaging in the "burn after reading" mode, they sometimes need to send a small number of messages that need to be recorded by both parties. For example, in the "burn after reading" mode, the user needs to send a normal message with a specific time and place, and this normal message will not be deleted after reading. The existing processing method requires the user to first exit the current "burn after reading" conversation window, and then enter the normal mode conversation window that does not burn after reading, and then perform subsequent input, sending and other operations. When the user has sent the normal message, he needs to exit the current normal mode conversation window again and enter the "burn after reading" mode conversation window.

As can be seen from the above description, in existing instant messaging software, switching between different message modes is relatively cumbersome.

Summary of the Invention

The embodiments of the present application provide an instant messaging method and client that are easy to operate.

To solve the above technical problems, the present application provides an instant messaging method, which includes: receiving an input instant messaging message through an input box of a conversation window; reading the current value of a preset information type identifier; wherein the preset information type identifier includes a first value indicating that the current information is of a first information type, and a second value indicating that the current information is of a second information type; sending the instant messaging message, wherein the instant messaging message is accompanied by the current value of the preset information type identifier; when the preset information type identifier is the first value, displaying the preset information in a display box of the conversation window; when the preset information type identifier is the second value, displaying the instant messaging message in the display box of the conversation window; wherein the preset information indicates that the corresponding instant messaging message is of the first information type.

The present application also provides a client, which includes: a receiving module, used to receive an instant messaging message input through an input box of a conversation window; a reading module, used to read the current value of a preset information type identifier; wherein the preset information type identifier includes a first value indicating that the current information is of a first information type, and a second value indicating that the current information is of a second information type; a sending module, used to send the instant messaging message, and the instant messaging message is accompanied by the current value of the preset information type identifier; a display module, used to display the instant messaging message in the display box of the conversation window when the preset information type identifier is the second value; and to display the preset information in the display box of the conversation window when the preset information type identifier is the first value; wherein the preset information indicates that the corresponding instant messaging message is of the first information type.

The present application also provides a client, which includes: a communication module, a display and a processor; wherein the processor can receive an input instant messaging message through an input box of a conversation window; read the current value of a preset information type identifier; wherein the preset information type identifier includes a first value indicating that the current information is of a first information type, and a second value indicating that the current information is of a second information type; control the communication module to send the instant messaging message, and the instant messaging message is accompanied by the current value of the preset information type identifier; when the preset information type identifier is the first value, control the display to display the preset information in a display box of the conversation window; when the preset information type identifier is the second value, control the display to display the instant messaging message in the display box of the conversation window; wherein the preset information indicates that the corresponding instant messaging message is of the first information type.

The present application also provides an instant messaging method, which includes: receiving an instant messaging message; wherein the instant messaging message is accompanied by a current value of a preset information type identifier; wherein the current value of the preset information type identifier includes a first value indicating that the current information is of a first information type, and a second value indicating that the current information is of a second information type; when the current value of the preset information type identifier of the instant messaging message is the first value, displaying preset information in a session window, the preset information indicating that an instant messaging message of the first information type has been received; when the current value of the preset information type identifier of the instant messaging message is the second value, displaying the instant messaging message in the session window; wherein the instant messaging message of the first information type and the preset information of the second information type are displayed in the same session window.

The present application also provides a client, which includes: a receiving module for receiving an instant messaging message; wherein the instant messaging message is accompanied by a current value of a preset information type identifier; wherein the current value of the preset information type identifier includes a first value indicating that the current information is of a first information type, and a second value indicating that the current information is of a second information type; a display module for displaying preset information in a session window when the current value of the preset information type identifier of the instant messaging message is the first value, the preset information indicating that an instant messaging message of the first information type has been received; and displaying the instant messaging message in the session window when the current value of the preset information type identifier of the instant messaging message is the second value; wherein the instant messaging message of the first information type and the preset information of the second information type are displayed in the same session window.

The present application also provides a client, which includes: the communication module can receive instant messaging messages; wherein the instant messaging message is accompanied by the current value of a preset information type identifier; wherein the current value of the preset information type identifier includes a first value indicating that the current information is of a first information type, and a second value indicating that the current information is of a second information type; the processor can control the display to display preset information in a session window when the current value of the preset information type identifier of the instant messaging message is the first value, the preset information indicating that an instant messaging message of the first information type has been received; and control the display to display the instant messaging message in the session window when the current value of the preset information type identifier of the instant messaging message is the second value; wherein the instant messaging message of the first information type and the preset information of the second information type are displayed in the same session window.

The instant messaging method and client described in the above embodiments of the present application can determine the information type of the current instant messaging message based on the current value of the preset information type identifier by reading the current value of the preset information type identifier, so that the instant messaging message can be displayed differently in the display frame of the conversation window based on the current value. For example, when the preset information type identifier is the first value, the preset information is displayed in the display frame of the conversation window; when the preset information type identifier is the second value, the instant messaging message is displayed in the display frame of the conversation window. This enables switching between different types of instant messaging messages based on user needs in the same conversation window, simplifies user operations, and improves user experience.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions in this application, the following will clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of this application in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of this application. Obviously, the described embodiments are only part of the embodiments of this application, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments of this application, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without making creative efforts should fall within the scope of protection of this application.

Please refer to Figure 1. One embodiment of the present application provides an instant messaging method that may include the following steps.

Step S10: receiving an input instant messaging message through the input box of the conversation window.

In this embodiment, clients can communicate with each other instantaneously, sending and receiving instant messaging messages. The client can be a communication device with network communication capabilities, such as a desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet computer, smartphone, or smart wearable device. Of course, the client can also be software running on the above communication devices. The client can be used by the user to send instant messaging messages.

In this embodiment, the specific content of an instant messaging message may include text, voice, images, or files. Of course, the content of an instant messaging message is not limited to the above. In one specific embodiment, referring to FIG2 , an input box 2 may be provided in the conversation window 1 for receiving an instant messaging message input by a user. When the input box 2 in the conversation window 1 receives a user input, it may indicate that the user is editing an instant messaging message via the client. Furthermore, a touch keyboard 3 may be displayed in the conversation window 1 to facilitate text input by the user.

In this embodiment, the message recipient's identity may also be displayed in the conversation window. The identity may be used to uniquely identify a user. Specifically, the identity may be a user-defined name, a user's contact number, an account registered by the user in an instant messaging software, or the like.

Step S12: Read the current value of the preset information type identifier; wherein the preset information type identifier includes a first value indicating that the current information is of the first information type, and a second value indicating that the current information is of the second information type.

In this embodiment, the preset information types may include: a first information type and a second information type. Specifically, the first information type may indicate that the current instant messaging message has high privacy protection requirements or high security protection requirements, and may not be displayed in the conversation window later. The second information type may indicate that the current instant messaging message has low privacy protection requirements or low security protection requirements, but is easy for the user to read and record, and may be directly displayed in the conversation window later.

In this embodiment, the preset information type corresponds to a preset information type identifier. The preset information type identifier is used to indicate the specific information type of the current instant messaging message. The preset information type identifier may include a first value and a second value. The first value corresponds to the first information type. When the preset information type identifier is the first value, it indicates that the instant messaging message that the user currently needs to send is a message with high privacy protection requirements or high security protection requirements. The second value corresponds to the second information type. When the preset information type identifier is the second value, it indicates that the instant messaging message that the user currently needs to send is a message with low privacy protection requirements or low security protection requirements but is easy for the user to read and record.

In this embodiment, by reading the current value of the preset information type identifier, it is determined whether the current value is the first value or the second value. Further, the specific information type of the current instant messaging message can be determined based on the specific value of the current value.

Specifically, the reading method can be to set a switch button at a predetermined position in the conversation window. For example, when the switch button is in the first state of on, and the current value of the preset information type identifier is the first value ON, the message type of the corresponding instant messaging message is the first information type. When the switch button is in the off state, and the current value of the preset information type identifier is the second value OFF, the message type of the corresponding instant messaging message is the second information type. During use, the client can determine the current value of the preset information type identifier by recording the original state of the switch button and receiving the state of the switch button being clicked, thereby determining the specific message type of the instant messaging message.

Of course, the types of instant messaging messages and the values of the preset information type identifiers are not limited to the above description. Persons skilled in the art may make other changes based on the technical essence of this application, but as long as the functions and effects achieved are the same or similar to those of this application, they should be included in the scope of protection of this application.

Step S14: Send the instant messaging message, which is accompanied by the current value of the preset information type identifier.

In this embodiment, the instant messaging message can be sent by triggering an event of a user clicking a predetermined button, or automatically sent after detecting a predetermined period of inactivity in the input box, etc. Of course, the instant messaging message sending method is not limited to the above examples.

Specifically, referring to FIG. 2 , a send button 4 may be provided at a predetermined position in the conversation window 1 . When the user clicks the voice send button 4 , the client receives a trigger signal and sends the instant messaging message in the input box 2 to a predetermined message recipient. The predetermined message recipient may be the client corresponding to the "Xiaohua" displayed in the conversation window 1 .

In this embodiment, the current value of the preset information type identifier can be the first value or the second value. The client can determine the message type of the corresponding instant messaging message based on the current value. When the instant messaging message is accompanied by the current value of the preset information type identifier, the message type of the instant messaging message can be sent along with the current instant messaging message to the client of the corresponding message recipient. Furthermore, the client of the message recipient can perform different operations based on the message type of the currently received instant messaging message.

Step S16: When the preset information type identifier is the first value, the preset information is displayed in the display box of the conversation window; when the preset information type identifier is the second value, the instant messaging message is displayed in the display box of the conversation window; wherein the preset information indicates that the corresponding instant messaging message is the first information type.

In this embodiment, the preset information can be a combination of one or more images, character strings, voices, and videos pre-stored in the memory. The preset information can also be in other specific forms, which are not specifically limited in this application.

In this embodiment, when the preset information type identifier is the first value, it can indicate that the message type of the current instant messaging message is the first information type. This indicates that the instant messaging message the user is currently sending requires high privacy or security protection. To protect the user's privacy, the specific content of the message is not directly displayed in the conversation window. Instead, the content of the instant messaging message is replaced with preset information in the conversation window. If necessary, the message sender can click on the preset information to view the specific content of the corresponding instant messaging message before the message recipient clicks to read it.

In this embodiment, when the preset information type identifier is the second value, it can indicate that the message type of the current instant messaging message is the second information type. In this case, the instant messaging message that the user needs to send has low privacy protection requirements or low security protection, but is easy for the user to read and record. In many cases, this message may contain content that both parties need to record, such as the specific time and location. Therefore, this instant messaging message can be directly displayed in the conversation window for user viewing.

In this embodiment, when preset information is displayed in the conversation window, it may indicate that the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information is of the first message type, indicating that the instant messaging message the user is currently sending requires high privacy or security protection. To protect the user's privacy, the specific content of the message is not directly displayed in the conversation window. Instead, the preset information is used to replace the content of the instant messaging message. Furthermore, after the recipient clicks to read the message, the instant messaging message can be deleted within a predetermined time period to prevent others from browsing the instant messaging message log and leaking privacy.

In the embodiments of the present application, by reading the current value of the preset information type identifier, the information type of the current instant messaging message can be determined based on the current value of the preset information type identifier, so that the instant messaging message can be displayed differently in the display frame of the conversation window based on the current value. For example, when the preset information type identifier is the first value, the preset information is displayed in the display frame of the conversation window; when the preset information type identifier is the second value, the instant messaging message is displayed in the display frame of the conversation window. This enables switching between different types of instant messaging messages based on user needs within the same conversation window, simplifying user operations and improving user experience.

In one embodiment, a type switching mark is provided in the conversation window, and the method may further include: when the type switching mark is clicked, changing the current value of the preset information type identifier so that the current value of the preset information type identifier is replaced between the first value and the second value.

In this embodiment, a type switching mark may be provided in the conversation window. The current value of the preset information type may be determined by the click state of the type switching mark. When the type switching mark is clicked, the current value of the preset information type identifier may be switched, including changing from a first value to a second value, or from the second value to the first value.

In this embodiment, the type switch mark 5 can be clicked in various ways, including cyclic clicks, single and double clicks, light and heavy clicks, and so on. The type switch mark can have a first state and a second state. Specifically, referring to Figure 3 , for example, the first state of the type switch mark 5 can be recorded as 1 on the client, and the second state can be recorded as 0. When the click method is cyclic clicks, for example, when the type switch mark 5 is in the first state and is clicked once, it can transition to the second state. Accordingly, when the type switch mark 5 is in the first state, its current value can be the first value. Specifically, the first value can correspond to or be the same as the value recorded in the first state, for example, also 1. When the type switch mark 5 transitions to the second state, its current value can be the second value. Specifically, the second value can correspond to or be the same as the value recorded in the second state, for example, also 0. When the type switch mark 5 is clicked again, transitioning from the second state to the first state, the current value of the preset information type mark also transitions from the second value to the first value.

In a specific embodiment, when the type switch mark is clicked in single-click and double-click manner, when the type switch mark is single-clicked, the current value of the corresponding preset information type identifier can be a first value; when the type switch mark is double-clicked, the current value of the corresponding preset information type identifier can be a second value.

In another specific embodiment, the type switching mark may be clicked in a manner including a light tap and a heavy press. When the type switching mark is lightly tapped, the current value of the corresponding preset information type identifier may be a first value; when the type switching mark is heavy pressed, the current value of the corresponding preset information type identifier may be a second value.

Of course, the way the type switching mark is clicked is not limited to the above description. Those skilled in the art may make other changes based on the technical essence of this application, but as long as the functions and effects achieved are the same or similar to those of this application, they should be included in the scope of protection of this application.

In one embodiment, the method may further include: displaying a type switching mark at a predetermined position of the conversation window after the input box of the conversation window obtains focus or after the input box receives input.

In this embodiment, the controller may be provided with a control that continuously detects whether input is received in the input box of the conversation window. Upon detecting input, the control may be assigned focus. After the control acquires focus or the input box receives input, it indicates that the user wishes to edit the instant messaging message. At this point, a type switching mark may be displayed at a predetermined location in the conversation window. The user may click the type switching mark to change the current value of the preset information type identifier, thereby selecting the specific information type to be sent as the instant messaging message.

Referring to FIG. 4 , in one embodiment, the process of reading the current value of the preset information type identifier may include the following steps.

Step S120: Obtain the number of times the type switching mark is clicked.

Step S122: Determine the current value of the preset information type identifier according to the predetermined property of the number of clicks.

Step S124: When the current value is the first value, the type switching mark is displayed as a first predetermined icon; when the current value is the second value, the type switching mark is displayed as a second predetermined icon.

In this embodiment, the client may be provided with a counter, and the number of times the type switching mark is clicked is obtained through the counting function of the counter. Then, the current value of the preset information type identifier may be determined according to the nature of the number of clicks.

In a specific embodiment, the predetermined property may be the parity of the number of clicks. For example, when the type switching mark is clicked an odd number of times, the current value of the preset information type identifier is a first value; and when the type switching mark is clicked an even number of times, the current value of the preset information type identifier is a second value.

In a specific embodiment, the predetermined property may be that the number of clicks is single-click or double-click. When the type switching mark is single-clicked, the current value of the preset information type identifier may be a first value; when the type switching mark is double-clicked, the current value of the preset information type identifier may be a second value.

Of course, the predetermined properties are not limited to the above description. Those skilled in the art may make other changes based on the technical essence of this application, but as long as the functions and effects achieved are the same or similar to those of this application, they should be included in the scope of protection of this application.

In this embodiment, when the current value is a first value, the type switching mark is displayed as a first predetermined icon, indicating that the corresponding instant messaging message type is the first information type. When the current value is a second value, the type switching mark is displayed as a second predetermined icon, indicating that the corresponding instant messaging message type is the second information type. The first predetermined icon and the second predetermined icon are different. The different first predetermined icon and second predetermined icon can be used to remind the user of the specific information type corresponding to the instant messaging message currently being input.

Specifically, referring to FIG5 , the first predetermined icon can display a 1 at the position of the type switching mark, indicating that the current value of the preset information type identifier is the first value, and the corresponding instant messaging message type is the first information type. Referring to FIG6 , the second predetermined icon can display a 0 at the position of the type switching mark, indicating that the current value of the preset information type identifier is the second value, and the corresponding instant messaging message type is the second information type. Of course, the specific first predetermined icon and second predetermined icon styles can be designed in a variety of ways, and this application does not specifically limit them here.

In one embodiment, the method may further include: displaying a current preset information type prompt corresponding to the current value at a predetermined position in the conversation window.

In this embodiment, the current preset information type prompt may include a first information type prompt and a second information type prompt. Specifically, the current information type prompt may determine which information type prompt is displayed at a predetermined position in the conversation window according to a current value.

Specifically, referring to FIG5 , when the current value is a first value, a first information type prompt may be displayed in a predetermined location of the conversation window. Specifically, for example, the first information type prompt may be "burn after reading." When the conversation window displays "burn after reading," it indicates that the currently input instant messaging message is of the first information type, which has higher privacy protection requirements or higher security protection requirements. Referring to FIG6 , when the current value is a second value, a second information type prompt may be displayed in a predetermined location of the conversation window. Specifically, for example, the second information type prompt may be "do not burn after reading." When the conversation window displays "do not burn after reading," it indicates that the currently input instant messaging message is of the second information type, which has lower privacy protection requirements or lower security protection requirements but is convenient for users to read and record, and can be directly displayed in the conversation window later. When the user sees the preset information type prompt, they can clearly know the specific type of the current instant messaging message.

In this embodiment, the predetermined position of the conversation window can be above the input box 2, near the input box 2. When the user enters information in the input box 2, it is convenient to view the current information type prompt to clarify the current instant messaging message type.

In one embodiment, the preset information may include at least one of the following: a picture, a character string, a voice, and a video.

In this embodiment, the preset information is used to display the specific instant messaging message content in the conversation window when the instant messaging message is of the first information type, thereby protecting the user's privacy. Specifically, the preset information can be a combination of one or more images, character strings, voice, and video. Of course, the specific form of the preset information is not limited to the above description. Inspired by the technical essence of this application, those skilled in the art may make other changes. However, as long as the functions and effects achieved are the same or similar to those of this application, they should be covered by the scope of protection of this application.

In one embodiment, the instant messaging method may further include:

receiving a deletion instruction from an instant messaging message recipient, canceling display of corresponding preset information in the conversation window according to the deletion instruction, and deleting the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information;

Alternatively, when the instant messaging message sending reaches a predetermined time, the corresponding preset information is canceled from being displayed in the conversation window, and the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information is deleted;

Alternatively, after the instant messaging message is sent, when a click event occurs on the preset information in the conversation window, the corresponding preset information is canceled from being displayed in the conversation window, and the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information is deleted.

In this embodiment, when the instant messaging message is of the first information type, it is displayed as a corresponding preset message in the conversation window. The client can receive a delete instruction from the instant messaging message recipient via the communication module. The delete instruction can be accompanied by attributes of the instant messaging message, and the corresponding preset information and instant messaging message can be uniquely identified based on the attributes included in the delete instruction. Upon receiving the delete instruction, the client can remove the corresponding preset information from the conversation window and delete the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information, thereby protecting user privacy and preventing unnecessary information from occupying memory.

In this embodiment, when the instant messaging message is of the first message type, it is displayed as a corresponding preset message in the conversation window. When the instant messaging message reaches a predetermined time, the corresponding preset message can be removed from the conversation window and the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset message can be deleted, thereby protecting user privacy and preventing unnecessary information from occupying memory.

In this embodiment, when the instant messaging message is of the first message type, it is displayed as a corresponding preset message in the conversation window. After the instant messaging message is sent, if a click event occurs on the preset message in the conversation window, the corresponding preset message can be removed from the conversation window and the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset message can be deleted, thereby protecting user privacy and preventing unnecessary information from occupying memory.

Please refer to FIG. 7 . The embodiment of the present application further provides a client 100 , which includes: a receiving module 10 , a reading module 12 , a sending module 14 , and a display module 16 .

The sending module 14 is used to send the instant messaging message, and the instant messaging message is accompanied by the current value of the preset information type identifier.

In the embodiments of the present application, by reading the current value of the preset information type identifier, the information type of the current instant messaging message can be determined based on the current value of the preset information type identifier, so that the instant messaging message can be displayed differently in the display frame of the conversation window based on the current value. For example, when the preset information type identifier is the first value, the preset information is displayed in the display frame of the conversation window; when the preset information type identifier is the second value, the instant messaging message is displayed in the display frame of the conversation window. The communication module may be configured in accordance with the TCP/IP protocol and perform network communications within this protocol framework. Specifically, it may be a wireless mobile network communication chip, such as GSM or CDMA; it may also be a Wi-Fi chip; or it may be a Bluetooth chip.

The client of the present application can be a hardware implementation of the instant messaging message prompt method of the present application, which can realize the implementation of the instant messaging method of the present application and achieve the technical effect of the implementation of the method.

Please refer to Figure 9. An instant messaging method provided in one embodiment of the present application may include the following steps.

In the embodiments of the present application, by reading the current value of the preset information type identifier, the information type of the current instant messaging message can be determined based on the current value of the preset information type identifier, so that the instant messaging message can be displayed differently in the display frame of the conversation window based on the current value. In this embodiment, the click event may be a predetermined signal detected by a control corresponding to the client of the instant messaging message recipient. Furthermore, the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information may be displayed in a display frame of the conversation window based on the predetermined signal. Specifically, the click event may be a touch click or press received at the preset information location.

In this embodiment, the preset condition can be that the preset information position is clicked again, or it can be after the instant messaging message starts to be displayed for a preset time, or it can be when the long press click event stops, or it can be when the phone is shaken, etc. Of course, the preset condition is not limited to the above description. In this embodiment, when the preset condition is met, the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information is canceled to protect the user's privacy. In this embodiment, the preset information can be canceled from display in the conversation window. In one embodiment, the conversation window provides identity information of the instant messaging message sender; the method may further include: when displaying the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information, not displaying the identity information of the instant messaging message sender in the conversation window.

In this embodiment, the conversation window may provide the identity information of the instant messaging message sender. The identity information may be used to uniquely identify an instant messaging message sender. Specifically, the identity information may be a user-defined name, a user communication number, an account registered by the user in the instant messaging software, etc.

In this embodiment, when displaying the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information, since the instant messaging message corresponding to the preset information is of the first information type, the first information type may indicate that the instant messaging message that the user currently wants to send has high privacy protection requirements or high security protection requirements.
