Abstract

Appearance is improved while preventing intrusion of water into a hose and breaking or cutting of a tubular layer. At the spiral portion of a tubular layer (3) facing the exposed spiral outer surface (1a) of a hose body (1), a recess (3a) is formed to bend toward the hose body (1), the inner surface (3b) of the recess is made to adhere to the exposed spiral outer surface (1a) of a hose body (1), and the laminated portion (3c) of the tubular layer (3) laminated on a reinforcement (2) is formed to become thinner from the center part in the axial direction of the hose toward the opposite ends (3d) thereof. Consequently, the recess (3a) of the tubular layer (3) and the exposed spiral outer surface (1a) of the hose body (1) are integrated with no gap, and the strip material (2a) of the reinforcement (2) is viewed three-dimensionally through convex lens action of the laminated portion (3c) which is bulging to have a substantially arcuate section.
