Description
The invention relates to a escalator or a platform consisting of a truss, a step-band with steps or a pallet-band with pallets for the transport of persons and/or goods and a hand-holding rail on each side of a hand-holding rail, supported by a rail-socket, with a hand-holding drive to the hand-holding and a friction wheel to drive the hand-holding on the outer side continuously and with hand-holding reels placed side by side to press the hand against the wheel.
The patent EP 0 530 946 B1 describes a escalator in which the handlebars are guided on the outside by a free-running wheel and on the inside by two driving wheels, connected by means of a drive belt, the drive belt pressing the handlebars on the inside of the free-running wheel and taking the handrail with it.
A disadvantage of the well-known device is that the drive of the hand lever on the inside of the hand lever is done by means of drive belts. If the belt tension decreases, the drive of the hand lever is no longer guaranteed due to lack of friction on the free-running wheel.
The reference CH 404 916 is to a hand-operated ladder drive, which is equipped with cascading drivable clutch wheels on the inside and outside of the clutch, which drive the clutch, with a clutch on one side serving as a counter-pressure roller for the adjacent clutch on the other side.
The US 785 882 is a stepladder with a step drive and a hand lift. The hand lift is carried by a chain, with the chain being routed by chain wheels. The steps are carried by a chain, with the chain being routed by chain wheels. A motor drives a drive wheel, which drives the two chain wheels.
The purpose of the invention, as described in claim 1, is to solve the problem of avoiding the disadvantages of the known device and to create a hand-operated drive which gently drives the hand-operated stairway or platform.
Beneficial continuing training of the invention is indicated in the dependent patent claims.
The advantages of the invention are essentially that the hand lever according to the invention and the hand lever according to the invention allow a much shorter hand lever. The hand lever does not cross the stepper or pallet lever, which has the advantage that the frame can be constructed narrower. The hand lever according to the invention drives the hand lever on the outer side smoothly, which has a greater coefficient of friction, which makes greater frictional forces possible at fewer speed changes.
The figures in the attached table give a detailed explanation of the present invention.
It shows:
The following table shows the figures:
a stairway in the upper part with a hand-operated lift according to the invention,Fig. 2
The manual drive of the invention in the floor plan,Fig. 3
a side view of the hand-held drive in accordance with the invention,Fig. 3a

a further embodiment of the hand-held drive in the figure,Figure 5
The manual drive as shown in Figure 4 of the basic drawing,Figure 6, which is not part of the invention, shows
A manual drive with drive gears and a non-part of the invention, shown in Figure 7,
a further variant of the manual transmission.
Figure 1 shows a stairway 1 with a balustrade 1.1 with hand lever 2 on each side, where the balustrade 1.1 is held by a balustrade base 1.2. A step belt 1.3 carrying persons connects to the balustrade base 1.2 from the side with steps 1.4. A hand lever 2.1 drives the balustrade 2, with a crank 3 driving the crank 2 on the outer side 2.2 and hand lever respectively. On the inner side 2.3 or slide of the crank 2 rollers 8 press the crank 2 to the crank 3.
Figures 1 to 5 show a friction-resistant drive of the 3 rear axle, with a friction-resistant drive between the 4 and 3 rear axles.
A main shaft 6 carrying the step chain wheels 5 is driven by a drive chain wheel 7, where the drive chain wheel 7 is drivable by a non-shown chain drive and escalator motor.
The spring 16 pressed against the drive wheel 4 drives the clutch 2 by friction on the outer side 2.2. For example, the clutch 3 has a diameter of about 750 mm. On the inner side 2.3 or on the sliding position of the clutch 2, the clutch 2 is pressed against the clutch 3 by the clutch 8 rolls. The friction on the inner side 2.3 is significantly lower than the friction on the outer side 2.2 of the clutch 2.
The drive wheel 3 on one side of the escalator is connected to the drive wheel 3.1 on the other side of the escalator by a shaft 9 for torque transfer, with the pusher rolls 8 pressing the handlebar 2 against the drive wheel 3.1.
In the case of the variant shown in Figures 4 and 5, the drive wheel 3.3.1 is placed on the chassis 12 and is mounted by means of bearing 15, whereby the drive wheel 3 is mounted in a mobile manner by means of the swivel 15.1.
Figure 6, not part of the invention, shows a form-conclusive drive of the rebrake 3, with gears 17 being provided instead of the drive 4.
Figure 7, which is not part of the invention, shows the hand drive 2.1 with independent drive wheels 3.3.1 The drive wheel 3 of one stairway side is driven by means of the drive wheel 4. The drive chain wheel 7 has been replaced in this embodiment by a gear wheel 18, whereby the gear wheel 18 or the main shaft 6 can be driven by a gear wheel 19 carried over the gear lever of the drive motor. The drive wheel 3.1 of the other drive traps is pressed against the gear traps of the gear traps 19 by means of the spring 16 and is driven in a frictionless manner. This ensures a constant speed and stability of the gear traps.
The advantage of this embodiment is that fewer parts are needed (shaft 9, pre-shaft 13 are not needed) and shorter installation times for the escalator drive and the manual drive are possible without shafts.
The hand drive 2.1 of the invention can also be used on the sidewalk.
