Abstract

The invention concerns an ironing device comprising a base plate (2) generating pressurised hot water, means for fast hydraulic and electrical connection (3) of a cordless iron to the base plate when the iron is set on the base plate. The invention is characterised in that the cordless iron comprises a soleplate and an internal steam generator thermally independent of each other and respectively equipped with their own heating and regulating means.
