Abstract

Plastic garment hanger, the cross-section of which is double-T-shaped and has a vertical web wall (3), an upper flange (4) and a lower flange (5) and at the hanger ends of which downwardly and outwardly directed clips (6, 7) are arranged, which are each composed of a rigid abutment part (8) and a resilient tongue (9), connected in one piece with the latter, the tongue being connected to the abutment part (8) via an arcuate, freely extending connecting part (10). In order that the tongue cannot be broken off by opening too wide, a continuation (12), which is designed as a rigid part, extends the shoulder line of the hanger and forms the outer corner of the hanger is moulded on at a distance above the connecting part (10) and the tongue (9), the distance of the tongue (9) from the lower end of the continuation (12) being dimensioned in such a way that the tongue (9) butts against the continuation (12) when it is deflected to the maximum allowable extent. <IMAGE>
