Abstract

The mat has a space (5) tightly sealed between top (2) and bottom (3) sheets. The top sheet consists of an elastic fibrous web (8) with pores (7) which expand and contract according to the pressure in the intermediate space. The fibrous web is formed congruently with the bottom sheet to which it is seam-welded at the sides and at several points inside. Several sitting and reclining areas are distributed over the surface of the mat.
