Abstract
Process for continuously coating a steel strip with a liquid metal contained in a main crucible (3). The process consists in causing the steel strip (2) to travel continuously from the bottom upwards between two nip rolls (7, 8) with a horizontal axis, in creating a bath of purified liquid metal in the region of the nip gap (9) of the two rolls (7, 8) by continuously delivering the said liquid metal from the main crucible (3) and in controlling the height of liquid metal in the said bath. The invention also relates to a device for implementing the process. <IMAGE>
