Abstract

The invention relates to a limited-size keyboard consisting of a "flat table-board" (1), a "half left keyboard" (2), a "free surface for the mouse movement" (3) and, optionally, of a "font keyboard with small-sized letters" (4). Said keyboard is characterized by the fact that at the left area of ??the "flat table-board " (1), there is placed a "left half keyboard" (2) not containing all the "key letters " (10) and having on the right a "free surface for the movement of the mouse" (3). In this way, we have in a small-sized device a comfortable space for moving the "mouse" (14). However, in order for the computer user to have all the "letter keys" (10) available, without taking up much space, on the remote side 12 of the "flat table-board" (1) there are installed smaller key letters ( keyboard with small-sized letters ) (4).

PC games are designed to be played with a keyboard and mouse on a desk. So they are handled with the "standard office keyboard"(11), and the "mouse"(14). Also known are "split" - half keyboards, which in essence is a keyboard divided into two individual half keyboards, the "left half keyboard"(2), and the other half, which are very practical on the desk because the user places them at any angle and in any position he wants. Finally, the "small letter keyboard"(4) which are the size of a mobile phone are also known, but they are not practical for use in games because the size of the keys is too small.

So in order to be able to play computer games on the TV today there are the well-known TV keyboards, which consist of a "flat base-table-dashboard"(1) on which a "standard office keyboard"(11) is installed and right from this a "free surface for mouse movement"(3) has been created - constructed where the user moves his mouse. This keyboard for the TV fully simulates the desk, but it is not at all practical and easy to use because it is too large.

The advantage of this invention is that the user will be able to play the computer games and run the computer applications on the TV with a new keyboard for TV which will have a practical and easy-to-use size and a comfortable space to move the "mouse" ”(14) This practicality can lead to the acceptance of the computer as just another game console for television since the major drawback of using the computer as a game console is its practical handling. The standard keyboard and "mouse"(14) take up a lot of space.

The "limited size keyboard, with 2 letter size keys and free space for mouse movement" consists of "flat base-table-dashboard" (1) , "left half keyboard"(2), "free surface for mouse movement"( 3), and optionally from “small letter-key keyboard”(4), “surface-mouse-pad material”(5), “raised-surface”(6), “hook-anchor-retention-material” (7), “ anchoring-anchoring-holding-position area'(8), 'keyboard wrist rest'(9).

It is characterized by the fact that in the left area of the "flat base-table-dashboard" (1), as seen from the user's eyes, a "half-left keyboard"(2), office, is placed - constructed, which as is known does not contain all the "letter keys"(10) of the "standard office keyboard"(11), but a part of them which are also the main keys for controlling computer games (the control of games and most computer applications is based on the user has his left hand on half of the desk keyboard and his other hand on the mouse).

Therefore, on the "remote side" (12) of the "flat baseboard" (1) as seen by the user, a "small-sized letter-key keyboard" (4) is installed and constructed, so that at the same time the user is given the ability to write briefly texts and to have access to all the keys of the keyboard and especially to those missing from the "left half of the keyboard"(2), but without this occupying significant space and preventing the movement of the "mouse"(14).

This "tiny letter keyboard"(4) is actually the size of a small cell phone. Thus, as it is placed on the top of the "flat base-table-dashboard"(1) it does not prevent the movement of the mouse on the "free surface for mouse movement"(3), while at the same time the user can use it to write small main texts and in fact, to have all the keys of the keyboard at his disposal.

Thus on the "flat base-table-dashboard" (1) there are two different sizes of "letter keys" (10) which, however, all together create a single product which functions as a single keyboard with which the user has the power to fully operate a computer just like with his desk keyboard.

That is, this invention creates a keyboard which has two sizes of "letter keys" (10), but which all together create a single product and the larger size "letter keys" (10) are installed on the left side of the "flat baseboard - dashboard "(1) while the smaller ones are installed -placed on the "remote side"(12) of the "flat base-table-dashboard" (1).

For greater ergonomics in the use of this invention by the user on the upper side of the "flat base-table-dashboard" (1) as seen by the user is not prevented the small-sized letter-key keyboard" (4) is not factory fixed there. Thus the "small-sized letter-key keyboard"(4) is a small wireless keyboard (e.g. like those on the market) which, however, has the additional ability to be detached and repositioned in the "dock-position-anchor-retention area"(8) of the " flat base-table-dashboard" (1) according to the will of the user so that depending on the application or the game he is playing, he can place it as he wishes, while at the same time having the additional possibility of detaching it to use it to type texts by holding it with both hands and using it like a mobile phone keyboard with his two thumbs.

Alternatively, in the event that the "mouse"(14) used by the user is wired, it would be better to construct it and attach it to the "remote side"(12) of the "flat base - dashboard"(1) as seen by the user "elevated surface" (6) and then form thereon the "hook-anchor-retainer-position-area"(8) so that the "small-sized letter-key keyboard"(4) is placed on the "raised surface"(6), and allowed to passes the "mouse cable"(18) of this wired "mouse"(14) under the "small letter keys keyboard"(4) so as not to obstruct the use of the "small letter keys keyboard"(4) from the "mouse cable"(18) and at the same time not to block the "mouse cable"(18) and thus also the wired "mouse"(14) from the "small letter keyboard"(4).

The "free surface for moving a mouse"(3) is covered by some known material for mouse mats (mouse pad), i.e. some material on which a mouse works as best as possible.

While since this invention is directed to use and operate the computer that is projected on the TV and most of the time the user has the lights dimmed in his house at night, the "half left keyboard"(2) and the "small size letter keys keyboard"(4) to have illuminated keys, e.g. backlit as some of these models are now on the market.

But it will not be able to write complete texts but only play games or run graphic applications. Like a gamepad controller which is also intended for the user to play games on the TV but has no practical application for typing.

Figure 2 is also a top view showing the "flat baseboard - dashboard" (1) on which a "left half keyboard" (2) is installed and to the right of which the "free surface for mouse movement" (3) is formed. , while the "small size letter-key keyboard"(4) is also installed here on the "remote side"(12) of the "flat base-table-dashboard" (1) as seen by the user. This keyboard, precisely because it is small in size - like a mobile phone for example, and because it is placed on the "remote side" (12) of the "flat base-table-dashboard" (1) does not prevent the free movement of the mouse (14) (mainly for wireless mice) that the user places on top of this TV keyboard.

Fig. 3 is a perspective view of Fig. 2 showing the alternative placement of the "small size letter keyboard" (4) which is again placed on the "remote side" (12) of the "flat base-table-dashboard" (1 ) but not on the side of the "free surface for mouse movement"(3) which has "surface material - mouse pad"(5) but on the side that is the "half left keyboard"(2).

Figure 4 is a perspective view showing the "flat baseboard - dashboard" (1) , "half left keyboard" (2), "free surface for mouse movement" (3) the "small letter key keyboard" (4) , which is not factory installed on the "flat base-panel-dashboard" (1) but the user has the power to place it as he likes in the "docking-anchoring-retention-position-area"(8) located in the "remote side"(12) of the "flat base-board-dashboard" (1) and which if necessary is equipped with "hooking-anchoring-holding material (7), such as "Velcro - Velcro or similar materials"( 15), "clip, magnet or ferromagnetic material"(16) or "suction cup, silicone, or strong friction-holding materials that do not require a holding pair"(17)

Corresponding material is also placed on the base of the "small letter keys keyboard"(4) if it is necessary to hold it in the "area -position of anchoring -holding anchor"(8).

Finally, the "keyboard wrist support"(9) is visible, which helps with typing.

At the same time the "half left keyboard"(2) as well as the "small size letter keys keyboard"(4) are with illuminated keys for easy use in the dark.

The "free surface for mouse movement"(3) has a "mouse pad surface material"(5) which is placed on it so that we have a comfortable and optimal movement of the "mouse"(14) on this surface.

The "keyboard wrist rest"(9) which supports the best and most comfortable use for the "half left keyboard"(2).

At the same time the "half left keyboard"(2) as well as the "small size letter keys keyboard"(4) are with illuminated keys for easy use in the dark.
