Abstract
Pre-baked dough for toasted sandwiches, shaped as edible triangle pot, open only in one (upper) side with toasted external and internal dough wall surfaces. Using a special pressing machine, both surfaces are being baked and a light brown crust is created. The wall thickness is at least 5.5 mm and the inner space is crumb like. The shape of the proposed product in conjunction with the thickness of the dough walls permit, during the heating time in the toaster and during the consumption, a very efficient way of food holding inside the dough walls, especially when the filling materials are viscous (e.g. melted cheese) or liquids (e.g. sauces). Moreover, the crust which has been developed on the internal wall surfaces, prevents viscous & liquid materials to penetrate the body of the product and change its texture (soaked).
