Abstract

Novelty: An electronic system practicable for solar tracking applications and photovoltaic parks is disclosed. Constitution: 1) an electronic sun-tracking head; 2) an anti-shading system perceiving the shade and the direction thereof for optimal neutralization of the same (claims 1, 2, 4); 3) a programmable controller designed for the registration of the sun positions at defined time steps through the day as well as for the registration of the entire logic operation of the driving system of the sunlight collectors. Embodiment: Application in ready astronomic sun-tracking programmes -rotary mechanisms (fig.2) (azimuth axis X moving perpendicular to the earth surface - zenith axis Ψ) and in mixed movement mechanisms incompatible with astronomic sun-tracking systems (fig.1). Advantages: Automatic operation since the use of sunlight sensors -after memorization of the sun position- is abolished (claims 1,7); use of the whole abolished light sensors system in new photovoltaic parks forreducing the construction cost of these last.
