Abstract
Multifunctional coatings consisting of epoxy and Organic Modified Silicates including nanocontainers were synthesized for corrosion protection of netal alloys. The nanocontainers were loaded with corrosion inhibitors. The release of inhibitors from the nanocontainers is achieved through sepcific trigger. Methods of synthesis of nanocontainers and coatings are included as well as application methods of the coatings to the metal alloys.
