Abstract
The present invention consists in a method for producing ion collisions in the lattice of the metal crystal of a metallic carrier (2.1) consisting of stacked conductive layers (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4) and being in contact with a solution or melt of metal salts (2.2). This is achieved by the application of electric pulses of instant duration and high voltage on the metallic carrier, which are createdby an electric device (3), and cause very high instant currents in the said metallic carriers. During the repetitive application of the electric pulses, the metallic carrier, consisting of stacked conductive layers, should not fragment. This method can also be used on metallic carriers containing at least one layer made of a special or unstable metal for nuclear transmutations in a proportion depending on the type of the above-mentioned materials and the features of the pulse voltage. In this case, the method may be employed for the production of energy.
