Abstract
Το Σύστημα Εκτόνωσης του πεπιεσμένου αέρος εντός αεροθαλάμου Παραορτικής Αντλίας Αντιωθήσεως μπορεί να εφαρμοστεί σε ασθενείς με χρόνια καρδιακή ανεπάρκεια. Ως γνωστόν, η Παραορτική Αντλία Αντιωθήσεως βασίζεται στην παροχή πεπιεσμένου αερίου κατά τη διαστολική περίοδο του καρδιακού κύκλου και στην αφαίρεση αυτού κατά τη φάση της εξώθησης της αριστεράς κοιλίας. Το Σύστημα εκτόνωσης του πεπιεσμένου αέρος εντός του αεροθαλάμου (1) της Παραορτικής Αντλίας Αντιωθήσεως , περιλαμβάνει μία ηλεκτρονική βαλβίδα ασφαλείας (15) προσαρμοσμένη στην αρχή του εξωσωματικού τμήματος (13) του βιοσυμβατού αεραγωγού (11) της Παραορτικής Αντλίας Αντιωθήσεως. Η βαλβίδα συγχρονίζεται (μέσω ηλεκτροκαρδιογραφήματος που λαμβάνεται είτε από επικαρδιακά είτε από κοινά επιδερμικά ηλεκτρόδια) με τη συσκευή (κονσόλα) παροχής αερίου (14) και ανοίγει τον αεραγωγό στο περιβάλλον κατά τη φάση της εκκένωσης του αέρος από τον υποθάλαμο ΑΕ (συστολική φάση της καρδιάς), ενώ κλείνει κατά την προώθηση πεπιεσμένου αέρος (κατάτη διαστολική περίοδο της καρδιάς) από την κονσόλα προς την παραορτική αντλία. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο επιτυγχάνεται ταχεία εκτόνωση του πεπιεσμένου εντός του αεροθαλάμου αέρος και ομαλή εκκένωση του με την αποφυγή εφαρμογής σημαντικής αρνητικής πίεσης στον αεραγωγό, κάτι που δυνητικά θα μπορούσε να οδηγήσει σε ανώμαλη ροή αίματος εντός της αντλίας ή και σε άλλες επιπλοκές.
