Abstract
The present method achieves ideal reproduction of wood grain and knots and is characterised by the following stages :Stages 1,2. Selection of a material, cleaning, chemical pre-processing of the object to be decorated occurs.Stage 3. Painting of the surface with an electrostatic paint powder, one or several times with one or several colours or mixtures thereof in a manual or automatic manner follows.Stage 4. Partial polymerisation of the painted surface is performed in a furnace at temepratures ranging between 80 and 250 degrees Celsius with a respective residence time for retension of the powder onto the surface.Stage 5. The powder of one or several colours or mixtures thereof, in dry or wet form is liquefied with distilled or de-ionised water or any solvent and is coated to the surface in a simple manner or with the use of an electrostatic gum or in an automatic manner is effected one or several times.The reproduction of natural grain and knots of wood is performed with a specialised mechanical equipment in a smooth or relief form.The object is placed in a furnace or performing final polymerisation at temperaturews between 120 and 250 degrees Celcius.
