Abstract

Novelty: an electrically-operated body-free bouzouki is disclosed. Constitution: the flat compact body 1 the larger part of which is perforated, the neck 3 intersecting lengthwise the body of the bouzouki at the centre of the construction and reaching the strings bridge 4, the saddle 5 positioned on the massive body of the instrument on a specially-configurated space having at the rear side the electric board 6 for sound pre-amplification, the electromagnet 7 placed on the customary position at the end of the neck 3, the rear-positioned accessory 8 detachable from the instrument and susceptible to assist the better support and adaptation of the instrument to the musician’s body, the neck’s configurated channel 9 containing a rod 10 which is made of carbon fibers or aluminium and bears at its end the screw-and-nut system 11, and the fretboard 12 which is the third piece of the “sleeve” adhering onto the two others.
