Novelty: A method and bending system for the production of reinforcement spacers (2) made of wire, concrete rods, prismatic section materials and grids made of wire or concrete rod or tube or prismatic section materials is disclosed. Use mode: The spacers (2) are placed inside wooden or metal forms for determining the position of the concrete floor reinforcement. The spacing grids are derived from the initial grid (1) produced by a grid-welding machine. Configuration mode: The initial grid is longitudinally placed inside the mechanism composed of grips seated onto carriers ensuring the grips free movement in the longitudinal direction of the product. The central grip is stationary while every second grip is able to move in the longitudinal direction via the action of cylinders; upon the action of these last, the initial product is deformed, the carriers of the grips are displaced due to the traction of the longitudinal wires of the initial product and the final product is shaped.
