Novelty: Double-glass pane convertible into mirror. Constitution: A frame of glass panes (1) which frame is furnished with a gap (6) being formed between the two glass panes and peripherally and hermetically closed by silicon and a tough membrane (7) for being filled with mercury via the piston 2 and the pipe 4; a pressure balancing mechanism (piston 3, pipe 5) and a piston compression mechanism 2 are also provided. Technical features: Double-glass pane frames convertible into mirror via a lever 10; use of same as partitions due to their opacity limiting the use of curtains and blinds. Embodiment: Application to doors or windows where double-glass panes are used; use as changeable indoor partitions.
