Abstract

Η βίδα ή κοχλίας κνημοπερονιαίας συνδέσμωσης που αποτελείται από τον ελαστικό κορμό (Β) και το μεταλλικό περίβλημα (Α) συγκροτεί ένα ενιαίο σώμα με τρείς λειτουργικές περιοχές. Την κεφαλή (I) που φέρει την εξάγωνη υποδοχή για την κοχλίωση του και την λεία μεταλλική επιφάνεια που έρχεται σε επαφή με την περόνη. Την ελαστική περιοχή (II) στην οποία επιτρέπει να λαμβάνουν χώρα κινήσεις μεταξύ κνήμηςκαι περόνης τόσο ζωτικής σημασίας για την ομαλή ανατομική συνέχεια της ποδοκνημικής άρθρωσης. Τέλος την περιοχή συγκράτησης (III) που φέρει και το μεταλλικό σπειρωτό περίβλημα για την καθήλωση του κοχλία στην κνήμη δημιουργώντας μια ισχυρή και συνάμα δυναμική συγκράτηση της κάτω κνημοπερονιαίας άρθρωσης.
