Abstract

Μέθοδος συλλογής πληροφοριών ενδιαφέροντος από παρόχους πληροφοριών και δυναμικής ενημέρωσης ηλεκτρονικών χαρτών μέσω ασύρματου δικτύου αποτελείται από ένα Ολοκληρωμένο Πληροφοριακό Σύστημα (ΟΠΣ) το οποίο ενημερώνεται από διάφορους παρόχους πληροφοριών. Οι χρήστες συνδέονται στο ΟΠΣ μέσω ασύρματου δικτύου και λαμβάνουν δεδομένα ενημέρωσης ηλεκτρονικών χαρτών με βάση τα οποία ενημερώνουν ηλεκτρονικούς χάρτες οι οποίοι είναι εγκατεστημένοι στις συσκευές τους. Πλεονέκτημα της παρούσας εφεύρεσης είναι ότι μέσω ασύρματων δικτύων δίνεται η δυνατότητα ενημέρωσης ηλεκτρονικών χαρτών άμεσα, εύκολα και μόνο όταν είναι επιθυμητό από το χρήστη, ενώ σε συνδυασμό με εφαρμογές GPS/GIS/πλοήγησης παρέχονται αναβαθμισμένες δυνατότητες ενημέρωσης.
